This painting was inspired by the quaint Provençal village of Roussillon under a cloudy sky. Several sketches were drawn from life in a travel notebook.
These visual materials were then used in the intensive creation of the final painting.

"Au bord de Roussillon" was exhibited in Paris at the 120th Salon d'Automne 2023/24, which took place at the Grand Halle de la Villette from 18 to 24 January 2024.
